Jay's and Patrick's recent posts made me think of  this design. I believe a master plan  has been accepted by CCSF members.  Does anyone   know the nature of the plan, and if  any work  has begun.  i believe  Tom Doak  rated this  course as a 6 on the scale.

I drove by it late in the summer adn from HW 280 looks like still a lot of work to go.

Anyone have a better update than my "drive by"

The folks from Kyle Phillips Design will be doing a slide show/presentation after the Nov. 17 Morgan Creek outing on the restoration, with a q and a to follow...

Sounds interesting, Jed... the Phillips Design Q&A, that is.

I can't imagine they'd call the work 'restoration'. As I understand, Vernon Macan remodelled an existing layout there, at California GC; he was followed by Alister MacKenize and a few others over subsequent years.

If in fact they are 'restoring', I wonder what? Macan (I doubt it)? MacKenzie?
