Eric Franzen:
The hell with Denmark, Jutland or Fanoe Links. Would you mind offering up an enlarged photo of that one you posted above. It appears that golfer might be exceedingly attractive to look at.
And yes, I too have been to Jutland but many many moons ago. All I can tell you about it now is it is remarkably different than the Tivoli Gardens.
Do you see that sixth photo down (or third from the bottom) that Tommy Naccarato posted? If we all went out to that spot in a fairly high wind we could all actually see for ourselves how God and Mother Nature produces sand dunes and natural bunkers.
There is a stretch of land on both sides of rather lonely A1A south of Amelia Island Florida that has every bit as beautiful natural sand formations as those photos above. Every year I go down there I take myself to that spot and sit amongst the natural glory of it. Unfortunately, it's a natural preserve and one is not really even supposed to trek into it. A few years ago I was sitting in there on a particularly windy day watching God and Mother Nature making natural dunes and taking notes on their particular architectural formulae. To my surprise eventually appeared behind me a Florida State Trooper who rather rudely blurted out; "What the f... do you think you're doing in here Bub?"
I said: "Well, my good man, I'm making notes on God and Mother Nature's architectural sand dune and bunker formulae to be applied in golf course architecture."
Damn lucky thing he didn't clap me into the hoosegow.
