Steve Curry needs your help
« on: December 16, 2006, 03:36:24 PM »
Steve Curry, superintendent at Berkshire Hills CC in Pittsfield, Mass., a regular poster on GCA, is going through some serious medical issues right now. He just went through a long surgery Friday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass. to remove a brain tumor. Details and prognosis to follow, but he came out of the surgery okay and is now recovering. He and his family need your prayers right now, and they might also need your help.

There's no more devoted student of Tillinghast, no better family man, nor friend to his fellow superintendents than Curry.

As soon as I get contact information, etc., I'll post it here for everyone. It would be great to see us stand behind one of our own in real need. And knowing Steve, he'll be at least reading GCA pretty soon.

Steve is a great guy and one of those who really educates us amateurs here on GCA.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Steve. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Steve, my friend - we are all praying for you

Our prayers are with you. Persevere through this time, with hopes that the worst is over, and consider re-cooping with your sis and all of us in sunny Florida.

Let us know how we can help in any way.

Steve is one of the first guys I met on this site and he's always been a gentleman.  I tried to link up to the above website for an update on his condition but it didnt work.  I had a client who went thru something similar a few years back and my hopes are that Steve comes thru this with his health intact.  All my best to Steve and his family..

I just talked to Steve, he sounded good. They are confident because of the treatment and good care he has received. He thanks everyone for their concern, prayers and thoughts. Thank you Brad, for the heads up.

My prayers go out to Steve and his family.
My sister was just released from a Dallas hospital where she was rushed with a brain aneurism, so I understand the situation and wish everyone the best.

Dear Steve,
The Carmelite nuns in Santa Clara, Calif. are also praying for you. Prayer begins at daybreak and continues until 9:00 p.m. every night. May these prayers (bundled with all the others) guide you to a quick recovery.

To a fellow Pittsfield native, I send my best wishes.  I'll ask friends at Notre Dame to include you in prayer.
