I still believe we should have them well before Christmas provided I get the checks quickly - I really don't want to lay out the money for 50 or more bags with the hope that people will come through with payment.

Let us know where to send them now to get a head start.  If the project falls through and you cash our checks you'll just have 50 maniacs with 2 irons swinging at your doorstep.

Any chance there will be a 2008 re-order of the bag?

Dean: I really haven't had much interest in reordering the bags.  Sun Mountain would probably require at least 10 bags to embroider them again.  The project was done because it was the lightest stand bag I ever found and a lot of us are avid walkers.  The project was not done to make money for GCA and the leftover funds were minimal as the bags were shipped all over the US as well as the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Bottom line: I don't see it happening for a while.

Jerry:

Just a post from a satisfied customer.  That bag became my #1 when you sent it to me last year and it remains so.  Love it, love it, love it.  It is the lighest stand bag I've ever seen, and well if there is one lighter it's meaningless because this is a feather.

So thanks again for doing this!

Jerry - Thanks for the reply.  If the interest builds, I am definitely interested.  In addition, the bag you ordered is no longer available however Sun Mountain has two new bags which are three pounds or less.

Swift (< 3 LBS)

The mini looks the same as the bags we got last time, maybe a bit updated.  My only problem was the small openings into the bag and I solved that by taking out the padded velcro.  Probably not too good on the graphite shafts, but it does make it easier getting clubs in and out.  And, as Tom says, it is the best walking bag ever - at least best with a stand.

Thanks again, Jerry, that was quite a project!

That looks like 3!  Is 10 a realistic number?

If we could do it for anything like the price they were last time, I am definitely interested.

Another satisfied customer.  The best bag I've had for walking, so long as conditions don't require me to carry waterproofs, though even then the side pocket is a decent size.  It's a squeeze to get 14 clubs in but I can manage perfectly fine with the velcro dividers in place.  Money well spent.
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

I love mine, too.

It might be nice if someone offered to take over and do the grunt work for Jerry. It would probably be an easy transition, and he did all the work last time.

I think I'm in.  2 Qs

Is the price still $75 or thereabouts?

What color is it?   The link on page one no longer works.
