Awesome pics!  Thanks for posting... Man it really is brown... I was thinking it's just my TV....  ;)

BTW, care to ID that Buda Cup talent, for those of us who have yet to meet such gents?  I mean I think I know one... but jesus he couldn't have aged THAT much... I recall Goodale as a much, much, much younger man...

 ;)

Very wise of you to hang around with that codger - you too look like absolute studs relatively.

Phillip, thank you for bringing highlights of this most exciting of Opens to us. Rich looked parched even at midpint. I have been watching all morning. Not much work being done here today. Cheers and happy Open week.

Jesus... Ledbetter talking to Clarke. I'm suddenly regretting picking Darren in the Golf Opinions pool. :(

   Pictures are amazing.

I've never seen a course so brown!

Majestic pictures, Philip.
Keep lathering on the suntan lotion!

What is Goodale quaffing there? Looks suspiciously like a Tennents, but knowing Cheshire, it's probably a lukewarm Boddington's??

Obviously, Mr Murray is seeking alternative employment for when Sky loses the PGA contract (Jan 2007). I hope he's a better Coach than he is a Presenter...

It's great to see U.S. captain Richard Goodale wearing his Painswick shirt!  Great memories of past Buda Cups!

I was wearing my Painswick shirt at the Walker Cup last summer when I ran into Peter McAvoy, assistant to the GB/I captain.  Those who will there will never forget Peter's after dinner ramblings during the 2004 Buda Cup banquet (not to mention the ode composed for the occasion by the Painswick poet laureate!).   Peter seemed somewhat nonplussed when I virtually shoved the Painswick logo into his face and asked, "remember us?!"   8)  I think his reply was, "Harumph, well of course, see you!"

It was a Kroenenbourg 1664, the "Official Lager of the 2006 Open Championship!"  Quite tasty in the 93 degree heat.  And yes, Mike, I was prooudly wearing the Nuzzo Design gimmie cap, and will send you my invoice for PR services in due course.
