Congratulations.  I have that exact picture as my wallpaper.  I can't think of many better options for the locale of a hole in one.

Well done.

Yawn.  What is that now, 15 aces for you, Mr. Huntley?  It must get old after awhile.

Congratulations Bob. I hope the $24 was sufficient to cover any mandatory post round libations for your playing partners.

In Great Britain and other former colonies of the Empire, is it customary for the lucky/skillful golfer to buy a round of drinks for his playing companions or the entire bar?
Pete,
When next we meet, remind me to tell you about the debacle that followed my ace at Riviera's fifth hole. It had to do with the bankruptcy of The Hole In One Club. It is still painful to relate.Bob

How soon we forget, you must mean Riviera #6, or your a big driver. Anyway, great shots, I am still at 0 after 30 years. Does this mean all GCA'ers get a free drink?
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.

Tim,

You are so right, it was the sixth.

As for the free drinks, yes, but you have had to contribute to my Hole in one Club Fund.

Congratulations, Mr. Huntley!

I developed a dedicated fondness for Strantz courses from playing Tobacco Road and Tot Hill Farm a during my 6-month stay in North Carolina. His par 3's always provide excitement, even when one must settle for a birdie...

From what I've read, his work at the Shore course will be a lasting testament to his talents.
