noticed this is on Ran's "The Next Fifty" list....anyone know anything about this course?  I wasn't aware of it :-[

Ran always has one course on there that nobody's heard of so people will ask, "what's this North Shore course about?"

David Gill design 27 holes, nothing special at all.  Maybe he meant North Shore CC by Colt Alison in Glenview, Illinois.

I think he might be thinking of North Shore in Menasha Wisconsin,  originally designed by Leonard McCumber, recently remodelled and semi-restored by Bruce Hepner of Renaissance golf.  It is pretty special.
