I won't be getting into Palm Springs until 9:45 - what time are guys meeting in the hotel lobby in the morning - how far is it to the course - I'll have a rental car so I can take people with me.

Jerry,
I will have all the info you need (via email) in regards to how to get to each of the clubs and what time to be there. There will also be an update of times to be at each of the clubs as well as the format for the tournament, tee time, etc.. You will find out who your opponent is when you get to the course.

Staying where your at, your no more then 15 to 20 minutes away from each of the courses.

Tommy,

Eric Franzen, Jesse Jones, Sean Leary and I have a 12:35 tee time at PGA West Stadium. We will try to make it, but obviously alot depends on how long the round will take; in the perfect world we could be there by 7:00. If we can make it there by no later than 7:30 we will indeed make the efffort.

Pete,
You should have not a single problem of making it there by 6:30. Get there when you can.

Tommy, I tried to get Gib to come and bring the Redhead so I would not be the only guy there with a caddie(Wendy). lol He says he is a no go though.

Tiger John,
You inspired me to make one last ditch effort into coearcing him down South. You see, I have a heavy debt to pay the man.

While I completely understand why he can't make it, I know I'm going to miss having him being there, and while I look forward to seeing everybody, the event just isn't going to be the same without him.

Gib Pap is larger then life....

And that's all I can really say about that.

Tommy, You are so right. Maybe a Bay Area guy cannot handle a wee bit of toasty weather.

Jonathan, I do hope one night we can dine in such a grand style. I look forward to the same as well. It looks like a great crowd for the KP. Tommy had not declared me a Northern or Southern Cal player. Bill, you are right. I was wilting today just hitting practice balls. It will be great to see you and Jim Friday night.

Holy moley -what a crew!  And Garland, well I never.   ;)  But I see Peter took this in the proper light - you all do save some libations, and fun - for us Saturday arrivals, you here?

BTW as I type this I am laid up at home with back spasms... if I make the trip at all - which god help me I will if I can walk at all - well, have pity on me.

Well, if it works....

But sadly I only wish it was a ploy.  I am rather pathetic and prone at this moment.  Luckily I have five days to mend.... ;)

Most of us are over 40 TH, it's hell getting old. Suck it up. I've got back and knee problems, but what pisses me off the most is these damned reading glasses.

More sign of the impending doom that is about to come for the NoCal's.....

(Don't think for one second I'm believing any of this fish tale. Bad Back! Yes, I believe you! (Insert fish hook into my mouth)

It's going to take a lot more then Advil Gel Caps and cheap excuses to beat the South.  The list of teams will be posted here in a few hours. (or less)

Late arriving to the thread, late arriving on Friday night - I'm gonna do my best to get out there, but mefears that the earliest I would be able to leave the office is 4ish, which puts me in the midst of "Escape From LA, version 6/4" and on a slow track toward the desert.

Nonetheless, I shall do my best.

I think Evan and I are landing at (ugh) LAX around 9:30, which will probably put us in the bar maybe a little before midnight, though I tried this with the near Mrs. and we landed around 4 and pulled into La Quinta about 9.  Regardless, we should make our tee times.   :D

Tommy: I might be able to get out of the office early and catch an earlier flight that gets me in at 6:45 - maybe get to the restaurant by 7:30 - I presume that the group shall still be there.

Tommy,

I will not make it by 6:30 or 7:00, so I will join the action in progress, hopefully by 7:30, 8 at the latest.
