Doug,

I am sure it is part of their schtick, but from what I've read it's based in some fact. As I said, that evidence is hardly conclusive but there is a traceable line of evidence in other works.

I see Flynn as car #91 of the Florida East Coast Railroad, the private car for Henry Morrison Flagler known as "Rambler." Flynn built courses for Flagler and of course Flagler's senior partner, JD Rockefeller.  Gotta like Flagler's middle name, too.

I see Ross as car 4251 on Septa's Cynwyd line  ;)
