Is anyone planning on attending the Stanley Thompson: Beyond the Fairway event at the RCGA Hall of Fame (at Glen Abbey) on March 19?

I expect there will be a hand out that will be worth the price of admission.

I will be going to the event.

That reminds me I need to see Karen again.

if there is a handout/paraphenalia from this event, would someone mind either scanning/posting/emailing/ or snail mailing a copy to a lonely GCA soul in Vancouver?

Ian,

What makes you believe there will be a handout worthy of the admission price? Is it because Doug will be a panelist and you have seen what was prepared for the event?

If there is such a thing, do you think it would be available to people who can't attend?

I'll check with the RCGA but any info would help.

Thanks

If there's a handout I'd be willing to scan it and email it to whoever wants it.  I could even post it on the DG I suppose...

I'll be halfway around the world 8), but if a hand-out is available, I would love to get a copy of it, and would re-imburse the generous soul. I realize that it is one of the perks of attending, and with a limited audience of 50 (according to RCGA website) it could be an exclusive catch. However, we can't all live in the Toronto area.

Nobody will need to scan it, or photograph it, there will be a scan made that can be passed on.

Chris: Thanks for the heads-up on this event.  Hopefully I can get there.

I see the RCGA is also hosting an event this year on Moe Norman...there would be some amazing memories and stories come out of that gathering also.  Anyone know the date?

Ian,

I am interested in attending this event, really, but would I need a sponsor say, from a humble gentleman such as yourself, or could I just show up and crash the place.

More importantly though...would I happen to have an idea (hint, hint) to what this "surprise" is that you so subtly refer to?  Just curious!

Jeff,

Your not being serious...are you?  I have an idea then, don't come to the event then you would mind what I do.  Either way, I promise to behave which might be boring, but that's what I usually do.

The Thompson event's a great excuse to head to Toronto... one of the best city's on the planet! (No joke!)
