We were there in Oct......the weather was perfect (They called it the Indian summer". A tad bit windy, but we expected that. If you like classic, then MPCC is the way to go. I wish I had one more day to play the Shore course. It just got featured in Links.
As for my favorite, that is a hard one. The layout at the Dunes was great. Greens were PREFECT. I thought it was a tough course.
Pebble was not in the best of shape....but do recall that they get tons of play. They were adding bunkers to 17 and 15 and adding a huge trench on #2. I played Pebble very very well both times which makes me side with Pebble as my favorite.
Spanish Bay is a resort course, very easy but fun. Spyglass was a challenge, once you past the first 4 holes it turns into a different golf course. I needed a cold beer after that round.
Next time I would play the Dunes and Shore course at MPCC, I would like to play De Monte and Pebble.........and of course, I would love to have the opportunity to play Cypress........
