Which course is this? 1
« on: January 21, 2006, 06:18:59 AM »
I have a large number of scorecards.  I may as well put them to some use by quizzing you on them.  Don't worry, they're not all English!  The first is a club I've never been to. It was founded in 1896.  These are the yardages from the 'Championship' tees of the Old Course, both nines of which have sylvan names.

1. 402 4
2. 405 4
3. 182 3
4. 514 5
5. 227 3
6. 462 4
7. 399 4
8. 323 4
9. 343 4

Out 3,257 35

10. 406 4
11. 161 3
12. 483 5
13. 382 4
14. 538 5
15. 420 4
16. 476 4
17. 248 3
18. 502 5

In 3,616 37

Total 6873 72

You've got me on this one, but I think I know #2.

I expected that you might know No 2.  No 1 is on your side of the pond.

Come on Mark.  Scranton?  I feel honoered that you would think we would know that.  Well, that you think someone would know that.
Where there is no love, put love; there you will find love.
