George Bahto,
I question the accuracy of the model, especially the placement of the water on the 12th hole side.
It would seem natural for there to be a tee adjacent to the 12th green for two reasons, first, it was done on previous holes, and secondly, it's convenient to the road/bridge.
The entire back of the 13th green is virtually uncupable due to the increased pace of the greens, however, expanding the green to the right, next to the deep wrap-around trench bunker, which I've advocated for 20 + years, would allow the placement of hole locations in harmony with the rest of the golf course, where the side of the green takes a sharp dive into an adjacent bunker. This makes the approach and recovery far more tactical, in that shots hit more safely must now traverse the sloping green from substantial distances, and approaches and recoveries to the far right side must be accurate or face a dire result.
Escaping from the deep right side bunker will be difficult, however, what will be more difficult is getting a recovery anywhere close to the hole on that sloping green.
George, you may also recall that there's a tiered earthworks to the left of the 12th green that would make a perfect back tee for # 7, allowing the "hotel" bunker complex to come back into play off the tee. A tee that TEPaul, aka, "the unknowing" dismisses in his quest to alter par on a scorecard, rather then return a vital architectural feature back into play.
It would seem that a tee immediately adjacent to the 12th green might present a hazardous situation with respect to golfers on the 14th tee. In fact, if the hole was cut to the far left on # 13 green, a golfer playing a slice would hit his ball directly at the 14th tee.
Perhaps the currrent configuration is the result of fine tuning pre and post construction.
