Gainey Ranch.

Anyone played here? ???

Apparently it made a Golf Digest public-course list a number of years ago and I'll be playing it this weekend for the first time.

Just wondering if there is anything significant here - architecturally or otherwise??

Bland.  Unremarkable.  Nice hotel.  Nice outdoor fireplace.  Good restaurants.  Play elsewhere.

All of the qabove are correct.  Condo canyon feel.  Not memorable.  Nice hotel though.

The architect of Gainey is JMP golf which was discussed earlier.  They feel its an award winner according to their web site.

I played it many years ago and I think the River or the Lakes nine was the best.
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta
