One of the finest gentlemen on the GCA site, Mike Hendren. I wish I had gotten a picture of his 18" kick-in birdie on #1....nice way to start the day!

Notice how bright and sunny it was on #6. It's so difficult to convince yourself that the line off the tee is over (or even right) of the left-hand bunker as the fairway slopes hard from right to left:
Probably 10 minutes later, the fog had begun to roll in and the temperature dropped 10-15 degrees.
The fog compounded the challenge of the already blind tee-shot on #8, over the dunes. The suggested line of play is over the end of the small trail that begins just right of where the players are now:
And the go or no-go decision on #9 was made a little more difficult by the fog:
