Buda I (Dornoch) was by far the most international of the series. We had Brian Phlliipssen from Norway, Ronan "Babe Magnet" Brannigan from Eire, Jerry Seydack, who was born in Poland, John Krystynak whose roots are from some other vowel-challenged country, Jeff "OOOFDAAAAH!" McDowell, who being MInnesotan, was as near as dammit to being a Canadian, Herschel Hoffman, from South Africa, Kelly Blake Moran and Steve Wilson, from two places (Texas and West Virginia) whose statehood is qeustionable.....
However, once we moved out of Scotland, things slipped.
Buda II had George (one of Tom Doak's interns, who was, I think Canadian), Ben Dewar, another Canadian who graced our presence by calling us on his cell phone, the Cajun Bernhardt and Ed Getka, the Uhruan.
Buda II had Phillip Gawith, the South African who wanted to play for the UK but we wouldn't let him, but that was about it.
Buda IV was graced by the Interplanetary Ran Morrissett, but otherwise bereft of an International flavo(u)r, unless you include the above-mentioend Mr. Muldoon, and I do (as well as the otherworldly, "Mark 'I'd tell you my real name but I'd have to kill Tom Paul....' Bourgeois")!
Buda V? Ou est les bourgeoisie d'antan?
