He's a great kid...I don't worry about him.  I do have to check that he's done his homework though.

Here's another photo with 2 GCAers in it and a golf architect.  Can you pick them out?  Can anyone guess the clubhouse?

I spy an architect.  I must say, he's a "Forse" to be reckoned with. ;)

 Jamie,

Interestingly, there is a connection between your first photo and this one.

Paul,
"Marley and Me", man that was a tearjerker. :'(  Charlotte was our first baby, and like you (congrats, BTW) our recent addition is well taken care of by his big canine sister...

...although there is a bit of sibling rivalry already. :)

Cheers,
Brad

Good eyes, Jamie.  Ronnie is a bit shy and retiring at the back of this photo but he's not like that in person.  Yep, his tour de Forse ongoing restoration is Indian Creek and that is in their magnificent clubhouse.

The person in the photo is well known to you all, the golf course not likely:

Would somebody please explain to me - I am technologically challenged beyond simple e-mail and Word Perfect - how the heck to post pictures on this site?

I've one I'm particuarly proud of with Bob Denver and "The Professor" from last year.

In truth it is a little unsettling that I so closely resemble my "Fred Flintstone" character - and also how close Darva D. Campbell resembles hers.

Gib,

If you want, email me the photo and I'll post it for you.  Otherwise, there's lots of "How To" posts in the archives.  Basically you have to upload the photo on a host site where it has a distinct URL.  Then you link the photo into the GCA reply by using {img}http://name of host site/your account at host site/photo name{/img}   But rather than { and }, you use [ and ]  I use comcast but there are other host sites that make it much easier--photobucket (I think) is one.

Gib,

You need to have your photos "hosted" by a image hosting website such as "photobucket.com".  This type of site is free to use, and fairly easy to upload pictures to.  Once you have your pictures hosted on that type of site, it is very easy to insert them into your post on GCA.

On photobucket, once you have uploaded your picture, there is an image address listed underneath the photo.  The bottom address will start with [img]....you can highlight the address, then hit Ctrl-C, then insert the address into your GCA post by hitting Ctrl-V on your keyboard.  When you press Ctrl-V, this posts that highlighted address into your post properly, and will show the photo when you post.

Last photo, I promise.  This is a picture of a favorite of all that have met him...my surrogate father at the same course as the photo I posted above.  The stairway will probably give it away:

Wayne,

I'm guessing the photo of Tom Paul and I believe Willie Dow were taken at the course on the Rockefeller estate??  I'd guess you 3 are the only 3 gca'ers to step foot on that property(maybe hamilton hearst as well ;) )

I believe the gentleman to Wayne's right (making him the first one on the left of row one , from our view) is Butch Bucholtz. I played with him during the Flynn Invitational at Indian Creek that year. He was quite the gentleman and ,as can be expected from tennis players, a good golfer as well.

Tom,

It's sort of a corny, old fashioned story, but Tami and I have known each other since 6th grade.  We've now been married for 10 years.

I love stories like that.  I know this goes without saying, but it seems to me you're a lucky man, Jamie.  And I'd say that even if your wife wasn't the hottie that she so obviously is.

Wayne I had the great pleasure of playing Brora and Dornoch back to back with BD this summer and he talked about you as you were his real son.  A true gentleman.

Tony,

I was supposed to go on the trip to Scotland with Bill, sorry I didn't.  He had a memorable trip and was grateful to spend time with you.  I hope to travel with him to St. Andrews, it would be a wonderful day walking The Old Course with him.  Bill and I do have a very close relationship, one that means so much to me.
