I picked up my "TCG" from Sleeping Bear Press a few years ago. My copy's copyright is 1996, printing #2. I have both a writeup on Durban and Garden City in "The Gourmet's Choice" but no High Pointe. Does anyone know how many editions, printings etc of "TCG" exist?

I saw a copy several weeks ago, signed by TD himself that was on display under a golf counter.  The price was $750.  I'll let you guess where the counter was located.

I also would like to have a copy - but at a reasonable cost - another printing please . . .  there certainly appears to be a market.

Barnes and Noble has two copies for sale thru its website, out -of-print section. They're not cheap, at $270 and $330.

Jeez, I'm a rich man.

I have two different versions of the self-published version, three copies in all, and two copies of the Sleeping Bear variety. Who would have thought my Confidential Guides would end up more valuable than my Google stock?

I guess what Tom is doing is bad news for me. The value of all my Confidential Guides will drop and I'll have to buy yet another copy. I think Confidential Guide is for me what Catcher in the Rye is for conspiracy nuts.

Quote
If I were rich, I'd have the time that I lack
To sit in the synagogue and pray.
And maybe have a seat by the Eastern wall.
And I'd discuss the holy books with the learned men, several hours every day.
That would be the sweetest thing of all.

If I were a rich man,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man.
