Robert- Play #2 FOR SURE,especially if you have not played it yet, it may be one of the best courses anywhere(hole#3,short 4 and hole #5 long 4 ,are two of the best contrasting par 4's within a 3 hole sequence that I have ever witnessed), then see Mid Pines, Southern Pines(best VALUE) and Pine Needles. All Ross courses and still have great greens...#4 was redone after the 1999 US Open by Fazio and I have played it both before and after---it was my next favorite before the re-do and it still is now. All these courses have a great FUN quotient....also if you stay at the resort, take advantage of playing #1 and #3. They still have some wild greens.(and you don't pay the crazy upcharges!! Mark
