The most waterfalls on one hole

This may win the prize for the most waterfalls on one hole.

What is the ruling if one's ball comes to rest against one of those rakes in the bunker? Are they loose impediments?

Glacier National Park, Montana.

I think Tom D. might know a thing or two about building courses in Montana.  ;)

There is a  par three hole on the Clive course at the Hideaway in La Quinta that has 5 water falls. You can barely hear yourself think.

The par.3. to get down there could be fun too ;) It might play a bit shorter than it's yardage though

I am waiting on a Caddyshack quote about a 10000 foot crevice.

I'm sure Ted Robinson, the king of water features, has done something that tops this.

They are movable obstructions ; we are outside agencies. Your knees are loose impdiments

Here's a worthy challenger...the waterfall between the 1st tee and 9th green at Canyata.

What is the ruling if one's ball comes to rest against one of those rakes in the bunker? Are they loose impediments?

Lloyd, as Ward said they are movable obstructions (MO).  Obstructions are man made objects,  some are movable and some are immovable.  Loose impediments (LI) are natural objects.  MOs can always be moved with no penalty and if your ball moves you replace it with no penalty.  LIs can be moved outside of a hazard (water or bunker), but if your ball moves as a direct result you would be penalized.  Inside a hazard, you can not move LIs.

The rake would be an outside agency (OA) if your ball hit it while in motion, which is the definition of "Rub of the Green".  OAs do not have to be animate.

Aren't there "five falls" (the name of the hole) at 18 at Greyhawk talon?

Kill all waterfalls.

I've seen enough of Ted Robinson's "Aquatic Presentations" (his term), but for sheer length, this thread would not be complete without the 18th at Shadow Creek or the two at Trump National in Rancho Palos Verdes.

I think - as a matter of technicality - the longest artificial golf course waterfall is Cascata in Boulder City, NV. . . . . .

The winner in the category of "Waterfall that most resembles a prop at Disneyland" goes to #17 at the aforementioned Shadow Creek . . . . .

All it needs is a mermaid or two and I would jump in myself.

#18 at Sultan's Run [Liddy] has a beautiful cliff and waterfall.

Here are some pix, including one of #18.
