GCA GOLFBAGS ARE BEING SHIPPED

I have been told by Sun Mountain that they have begun shipment of the golfbags. I expect that the domestic shipments should arrive no later than the end of next week - please let me know if your bag does not arrive by then and I will contact Sun Mountain.

Overseas shipments are also scheduled to go out but I cannot give a time frame for delivery.

Damn, I can't wait, so that I have an excuse to get off the tundra and go somewhere warm to show off my new bag and GCA.com logo and extort access from some high fallutin golf resort or private club. I wonder if I can go to Victoria National and make a splash?

Dick, The only thing I can think of is that FedEx has a hub here at the North Platte airport. With fewer people to deliver to, an immediate response isn't out if the question. Ahhh The Good Life!

BTW, The coffee shop/restaurant at the N.P. airport is damn good. And, a bit of trivia. The North Platte airport advertises itself as the 'First Lighted Airfield.

Yeah, lining up those smudge pots really does make a good target for the 747s to line up on, on a dark and dreary night. I hear Singapore Air is getting some ramp space next year and bringing a lot of Asian golfers into the Sand Hills and Chop Hills.

Wait til they get a load of your new golf bag and logo. Every smartly outfitted player in Tokyo will want one.

As you see, mine arrived. I took a photo with 10 clubs on board, and it is pretty full. I think it will be a great "Sunday bag" and I may go with about 9 clubs for those quickie rounds. I haven't checked yet, but it might fit empty in on top of my more sturdy regular travelling-carry Nike bag in my large air-travel case that is not hardbodied. I don't know that without a hardbodied case, that it will travel well alone with clubs in it without some hard shaft and club head protection, to be honest.

Oh, and anyone (you know who you are) that is worried that GCA logo will be too prominently displayed leading to extort access at all the finest private clubs; well, can you find the prestigious logo on the photo, above?)

Jimbo, I just stuffed some clubs in the new one to give the fella above a look-see. Rest assured, your AC tag was promently jingling on my Nike bag as I prowled the FWs at the tour d'Strantz last week. Sutton Bay, Brown County, and Cusco are the other ones that make the jingle bells.

It might be a nice hobby collecting them, but it would start to get a little loud and annoying to other players. Aren't you the guy that wants more cowbell?
