3 x 5
« on: February 22, 2006, 10:50:52 AM »
Langford's Gatlinburg Country Club's 9th, 10th and 11th were each three-shotters.  I looked up the card on the net and apparently the 11th has been changed to a par four and the course is now known as Gatlinburg Golf Course.

Any other back-to-back-to-back par fives out there?

Baltusrol Lower when you start on #10.
17-18-1.

I know it's cheating, but it's the best I can do.

Bishop Auckland, County Durham 2,3,4.  In fact it goes 4,5,5,5,3,4,3,3,5//3,5,3,4,4,4,4,4,4 - quite an unusual disposition of holes.  It's fun.

Walden on Lake Conroe GC north of Houston (#'s 9, 10, 11). Good course and each of those par 5's is a good hole (especially 11).

Jerry,

So you've played there too?

My deepest sympathies.  ;)

I believe the nines were once reversed (or contemplated to be) at The Dunes at Seville in Brooksville, Florida.  Currently #17 & 18 are par 5's, as is #1.  When reversed they played as #8, #9, and #10 - consecutively all par 5's.

Buffalo Valley Golf Course right outside of Johnson City, TN has 3 par 5's back to back to back. The course is not a very good course, but it's fun to go low playing those 3 holes.

You mean Ed holed out his next shot on #18 from the fairway
for eagle 3 instead of birdie 3?   ;)
