JNC Lyon:
No comparison -- Cobblestone Creek is beyond the two you mentioned. Eagle's Landing is a decent resort course that has a few holes of note. Lassing Pointe is likely just a tad better than EL but it's still short of CC.
The unique nature of the property at CC is what really helps with the strategic characteristics of the holes you find there. I've played a number of the private layouts you mentioned that are in the same vicinity as CC and I don't doubt the merits of a few of them, however, I would not be so quick to dismiss CC because it does offer some solid golf holes and is likely a tad better than nearly all of them -- save for one or two IMHO.
P.S. I'm sorry to hear that the back at #3 was pulled out. When you played from the angle at the championship tee you really had to strike the ball squarely for accuracy and power.
