OT - Justin Rose, Morgan Stanley Commercial

Does anyone know where the Justin Rose Morgan Stanley commercial was filmed?  Given the dunes and sandy waste areas it looks a bit like Streamsong but there are also some parts where the course has a bit more finished look that I recall from the  Streamsong courses.  Rose is playing Homma clubs so it’s likely that the commercial was filmed in late ‘18 or early ‘19 which likely means a southern clime. 


Curious because it looks like a pretty cool place.

I think it might be Albany, in The Bahamas.

Thanks.  I think that’s likely to be a good call.  There are only a couple of pictures on the Albany website and they look similar to what’s shown in the commercial.

I’ve seen it, which is the only way I recognized it.  (I don’t think I’ve seen pictures of it posted anywhere.)


It’s quite flat, with sandy wastes, too many ornamental grasses, and a lot of water in play.  On the bright side, there were two really good short par-4 holes, playing opposite one another so that one is downwind.

A Google research for Albany turns up more pictures with the same look so I’m sure you’re right.  Based on what you’ve written, i won’t buy tickets tonight although, here in the NYC where I am, it’s about to snow 8 inches, giving the Bahamas a certain appeal.

Justin lives in Albany, so that would make sense.
