Interesting stuff. Dundonald has allegedly been up for sale ever since it was built. First it was sold by the original developer to Lyle Anderson who then went bust and the members at Loch Lomond bought it with the Loch Lomond course. Before that, or after that (can't recall which), it was rumoured that some wealthy members at Pollok were going to buy it so Pollok could have a Glasgow course and a links in the same way Glasgow has.
The residential element has always been there but I'm not sure the site is good enough for high end development.
