With 2 million signatures on the official petition to bar Trump from entering the UK, I really cant see the R&A wanting that distraction. Having only just bumbled through the male only membership issue, I think they will be a bit gun shy of more controversy for a while

Once he is impeached it will be ok

I’m usually the one on here to defend the R&A but I can’t help but contrast the new Chief Exec’s attitude with single sex members clubs, many of which happily provide access to their course to members of the opposite sex, with that of a golf resort owner who has been recorded not only admitting to committing sexual assault but actually boasting about it. I wonder why no statement on that
