Ranking methodology is from west to east*
1. Dunes Club – excellent conditioning (under the drifts) but the property is not fully amenitized. Actually I don't think it's amenitized.
2. Whitinsville – Ross + Hanse = the oyster dressing of T-Day golf-type situations
3. Immergrün – if you're making a NW Pennsy holiday push there's no better place to whack your Bang! driver upside SAD. Conditioning spotty this time of year.
4. Metacomet – you'd be playing this year in a Noreaster so shot values resistance to scoring is off the hook
5. Ocean Links (NLE) – T Suffern Taylor could golf his ball, then host his ball. Nice Turkey Day twinite doubleheader right there.
6. Rolling Rock – nobody's ever there, which will slow down ball hunts in the snow but bring a few gross, a couple of spray cans of day-glo orange paint and you will zip around with plenty of time to spare. Emergency care clinic just down the road – check holiday hours before teeing off
7. Hidden Creek – drains well and shot values at 8.62. No wait 8.34 (standard 0.28 point deduction per weather event we just had)
8. Cape Neddick – bc Bush 41 isn't a category in GW or GD, but should be. Maybe the “Bush 41 Speed Rating”?
9. Hotchkiss – (another) MacRayBank homer call
10. Vic Nat – tee it up with Kav
A lot of 9 holers included -- mainly just to keep the parking lot nearby -- just go around twice if you want.
