It's exciting to see passion all the way through to it's fruition. Even if it's from the cheap seats in the treehouse.

I'm thinking Delaet is on his game, but Mcdowell will feel at home in Nova Scotia.

I think McDowell will pull off a 1 up.  I think he may boot it on a hole or two, but it is match play, and he will squeak through based on more familiarity with said conditions, and possibly more wily veteran of match play in his career.  Yet, obviously DeLaet is the hotter player at this point coming off a good showing at Fed Ex series.

I saw where two 'Emmy winning" producers are recording the match to be played at some undetermined later date in fall.

Is this perhaps part of the month long Cape Breton - Nova Scotia Celtic festivities?  If so, a fine idea which would be great if it became a traditional event associated with tourism and festival for the area.

Today's the day!  Hope it was glorious.  I'm curious how far they can hit it downwind, and I'm picking McDowell as the better putter on fescue.

Thank you for all the research.  As time permits, I'd love to hear the players reactions to the course.  Did it appear to be playing soft or were the balls rolling a bit?

I'm not sure it can play soft, barring lots of rain, that is truly links turf. 

I wonder where the wind was, and how strong.

Bill, from the look of the two banners wafting in the breese in the background of this video clip, wind was probably in consideration of most shots.
