$500 Million Floating Golf Course.....Is this real?
« on: January 23, 2012, 11:33:44 PM »
This leaves me speechless. I can't tell whether this is real or a joke. Has anyone else seen this?

This old, they are also building a domed course in Mississippi. As for the underwater course Kidd is rumored to be doing a routing, he likes the natural undulation of the ocean floor. Most expect Dr Gray to meet his next wife at the resort.

I had hoped for an out-and-back routing so they could tug it up the Mississippi.

How ironic is it that the article is followed by an advertisement from Forbes-Fisher Investments indicating, "4 ways of avoiding running out of money in retirement"?

My guess is that if this project were to be built, we will find that nature has a way of sweeping aside arrogant humans, and their wasteful, decadent, overreach into nature's true and supreme domain.
No actual golf rounds were ruined or delayed, nor golf rules broken, in the taking of any photographs that may be displayed by the above forum user.

This is actually a great idea. Now they can actually play the same course every week on tour (by towing it around to different markets) as opposed to having to change/design all the courses to make them the same. This should really eliminate a lot of the unfairness that the players see every week. But do R&A or USGA rules govern in international waters???

Do you think they took inspiration from the floating green at Coeur d'Alene? ::)
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.
