GREAT EMMET GOLF Thursday at HUNTINGTON, NY New

The first of two Devereux Emmet Society 2011 outings will occur this Thursday October 20, at Huntington Country Club on Long Island, This layout is a breathtaking example of early Golden Age architecture.  Enough quirk and brilliant holes to satisfy the most ardent GCA fanatic.  Come join us !

Mark,  The course looks great!  I would be very interested if it is on Friday the 21.  Please let me know what day you are thinking, I would have two others that would also be interested.

As someone fortunate enough to have played a good number of Emmet courses, I ccan say that this is a treat worth going out of your way to find the time to make this happen.  My post on Huntington restoration faded, but this is the best restoration of an Emmet course.  In addition, there are many truely great holes that will hopefully recieve their due discussion here after play. I am looking forward to a great day later this week!
