I put "Central," but did have a spasm of apoplexy that there was no "Mountain" region listed..........

Thanks for posting the results so far Kalen.

Only thing that really surprises me is that it seems that less than 30% of the posters on this site actually work in the golf industry. Nothing against "just golfers", but it would be nice to see a little more activity from the professional group as I think their expertise and experience can be very educational for the other 70%.

I will say though, that the "just golfer" group does already seem mighty educated on matters of turf and the golf industry, which bodes well for this sport. Now if only every greens committee or club board had an avid GCA member......the integrity of so many clubs might actually stand a chance of survival, revival and recognition.

I had totally forgot about this thread until it was bumped.

Some summarized results:

1) Over 75% of GCA.com respondents claim to live somewhere in the US.
2) One third of GCA.com participants claim to work in the golf business in some capacity.
3) GCA.com is pretty evenly split between private club members and public course players.

P.S.  Dave glad to hear your a member of my fan club....that brings the grand total to 1. ;)

Hmm,

I'm guessing the results haven't changed much.  I think I stopped bumping this when the polls were showing the same results.

Let me look into this and see if I can post the latest results.
