Ok, factual in a cranky way.  $1,500, forgettaboutit.  I’m pretty sure I’ve seen five.  Let’s see…I rather like those 4 in Bandon and, while on the subject, Rock Creek CC.  I’m not much into rankings.  If they’re fun, I like ‘em.  On my one wee trip to golf the old links, I liked the usual suspects:  TOC, Ellie, Dornoch, Brora, Machrihanish, N Berick, New, Cruden, Aberdeen, and for pure wackiness, Gairloch.  No point in the 8X10.  Just write on a 3X5 card “old, fat, ugly” and pass it around.  You can forget the lycra.  I’d look just as good in pallet wrap.
