« on: November 22, 2010, 01:58:45 PM »
The December GM magazine had a detailed section on their top 100 courses, discussed here already, but also some stuff on architecture. I have attached links to Dropbox where the pdfs can be viewed. Thanks to Mike Harris from GM for providing excellent pdfs.

This is an interview with 4 designers. Masters of design: http://db.tt/NP2suV1

This is a brief piece listing the designers who features highly in the top 100. Creating Classics: http://db.tt/564gCVU

I thought the whole Golf Monthly rankings were excellently done with great focus on the architecture...

But that feature on the architects featuring in theTop 100 is hopelessly off the mark...

Ach... You know... First glance... Giving Tom Simpson Liphook, Woking and Royal Aberdeen... Not giving MacKenzie Lahinch... giving no-one Porthcawl... giving Hackett Old Head...

The list goes on... No big deal really but all the magazines are incredibly bad at this one...
