Its a very difficult site....

If he paid $10 million to Tiger, then it's only $50 million.

They've sold 40 of the 1200 homes plotted.

Anthony seemed unfazed, citing a 10 year time frame to sell that many homes. He appeared to use his previous 3 projects for that estimate, but I can't help but sense those numbers won't fly under the new normal.

I have a few friends in the Cliffs developement. They seem to feel very good about its foundation. I will ask if a new course seems right at moment. I doubt it by the by.

Tiger, Anthony gave a 2012 timeframe on the GC. Citing, "it takes two years to build a golf course." Other tidbits about Tiger's design, "He's tweaked it 12 times" and of course, numerous site visits.
So, John, How many site visits have you made?  ;)

I wonder what the contract stipulates for Tigers site visits?

Nicklaus use to do the same when he was first starting out and he had only one course being built.  I suspect that if Tiger continues to sign contracts and build a business, you'll see him on site less and less.

Question:  Who is Tigers design associate (I heard it's a former Fazio guy) and what construction company are they using?

I'm pretty sure that Beau Welling, who worked for Tom Fazio for several years but now has his own design firm, is working with Tiger. That would be Tiger Woods, not Bernhardt!

Yes, Beau Welling is Tiger's designer. Beau is from Greenville, SC. Grew up here as a member of Greenville CC. Really first class fellow who is helping the 1st Tee of Greenville with design work (at no charge) for a youth golf facility.

Gentlemen, it is troubling that as the original Tiger, I keep finding more and more things he tops me at. He had golf skill it seems from near birth over me. Recently he confirmed his ability to consume cheezy women in greater quanity. Now he has architectural entourage. I still am an LSU Tiger and he is merely a Stanford Cardinal.

Well, he can't take that away from you Tiger.

Or CAN he?
