Matt -There is a par-5 at Old Orchard (a Tillinghast course in Eatontown. NJ) that has an island green.DT
Re: Island Green in PhillyIs this a first mention of this course at GCA?
Steve, Certainly not by me. I do like it there a bunch - O'Brien doesn't because he doesn't understand that a par 4 can be good without requiring driver off the tee. The 4th hole three is a cracker as well.
#16 at Shadow Lakes, which you have played.

Given the location, I always imagined 6 hour rounds, noise, and shaky holes.
