I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to everyone.  I am David Egan, 34 years old from Chicago. This is actually my second go-around on the board and I intend to stick this time!  A bit of background on me - I currently play to 0.4 index and am a member at Skokie and Bob O'Link.  I started reading the site again this summer when I was preparing for my first trip to Pine Valley and you guys hooked me. I look forward to giving you all my two cents on as many of these topics as possible.

No, I couldn't make it out there.  I actually forgot it was happening this weekend but, regardless, I have two little kids at home so weekends are family time, not golf time.  I was surprised to see that the scores were relatively high. I figured those kids would just overpower the place.  I can't wait to see what they do next summer at the Western Am.

PV was great. Going into it, I was skeptical that it could live up to the hype but it did.  I only got to play the course once and I was probably a little too focused on trying to grind out a good score (I failed) to really take it all in so I'm dying to get back there and do it again.  Despite that, I can vividly remember every hole on the course like I was just out there which is unusual these days.  I'd rate it as the second best course I've played just behind Cypress Point.
