Ran,

Big kudos as well for the site and I appreciate your providing us divot-sniffing geeks a place to hang out.  Having been all over the internet searching for other architecture related sites, I have found none even remotely close to being its equal.

Congrats on 10 years, Ran!!!

Like Bill McBride said, this site has changed the lives of many of the participants... could you ever have imagined it would have this impact?

What would I like to see added to GCA?

1) More participation by Ran Morrisett

2) The addition of a photo archive section similar to the one found at http://www.golfarchitecturepictures.com - perhaps you and Frank Pont could arrange a merger!

I love the idea of GCA.com expanding into a sort of online magazine with professional content that can be discussed... you are really onto something there.

Travel safe! I hope to see you before too long.

Mike

I still wonder why my excellent suggestion of a: "Places to Play" section wasn't implemented. :'(

It would be sort of a self editied Wikipedia, where people would list possible choices to play in each city. Not onlly would it free up the main disscussion board from the "where do I play in Podunk" questions, it would allow lurkers to gain access to this group's considerable wealth of knowledge.

Ran-

Thanks so much for sticking this website out.  I am sure you have had enough "Dr. Phil" emails.  This place really does represent a fantastic gathering place for golf geeks.  Where else can we discuss the nematode?

Thanks again,
Chip

You don't bring the nematode up at cocktail parties?

Carl,

You sure do in Pebble Beach.

Bob

Is it true that in Pebble Beach the nematode version of the Martini/Gibson is called a Huntley?
