God love ya Padraig!

Today it seems rare to find an act by a professional golfer that speaks to the heart of Golf.   Choosing to play your own countries PGA on linksland, in preference to the big money tourney that all your mates are at, is one of them?

I hope it brings him more success on the Links.

(Last year Colin Montgomery praised his foresight in doing this and said he might give it a go.  I predicted then which tournament he’d be attending.)

Go Padraig.

The Irish pros are very good at supporting their home PGA usually... McGinley and Clarke also make regular appearances... Guess they both needed their Open spot this time around though...

In preparation for Turnberry next year I think you would see me at the European Club the week before hanging out with Mr. Ruddy.
