What is the latest on this course?

I thought it was sold and would be closing for a housing development.  This was well before the bottom falling out of the LV housing market.

The reason I ask is that RL is still advertising.

I don't think it was sold.  The owner was trying to get it re-zoned and not sure if that went through.  

I would agree that because of the housing situation, I doubt it will be converted to homes anytime soon.  I believe Las Vegas has one of the highest foreclosure rates in the US.

Wasn't there initially a big stink about allowing the construction of the course in the first place, then it was approved with the understanding it wouldn't later be developed?  Some sort of drawn-out political drama...

My apologies if I have the wrong course in mind.
