I usually opt for a set of tees with a slope of 125-130. The distance can vary greatly within this range depending on the topography and design, but it usually falls in the 6500-6800 range. If the slope is less than 125 the course oftens feels a little easy. Above 135 and it's usually all I can stand... and then some.
