University Park CC(Ron Garl)will go semi- private and refund membership deposits to those who opt out. Other private clubs are hurting. No mention in this article about the the 3 new high end clubs that have recently opened- Founders Club by RTJ2, The Ritz Carlton Club by Fazio and Nicklaus'The Concession(GD's Best New Private)

I think all of the real estate development clubs are getting a heavy dose of reality right now. Two years ago, Southern Hills would not let anyone see the golfcourse unless accompanied by a sales agent, and you could not play unless you bought (or were a guest of a member). Now they will practically pay you to come play
