Dick, I've seen and golfed with Dan (at Wild Horse no less) recently. He is undoubtedly still the same gentleman and one of the sports great artists. He and Dave are very much interested in doing more projects that have their name on it. One, is actually close to being a done deal, but decorum prohibits me from mentioning where, or what project. As you know, it was our boy Paul H. who was inspired by the comments Dave and Dan had about his land, that has Paul working on that Georgia project.
One another note on just how great a guy Dan Proctor really is. Corey called me last week, said he got a call from Dan. Dan told him if he got a dump truck and a loader, he'd give him a week.
See, Corey's backnine, is a Marty Johnson 97'ish design. Corey has always felt the backnine needed some punching-up and a few Proctor bunkers just might do the trick. Needless to say Corey (and myself) are pretty jazzed about the prospects of having Dan around, even if it is only for a week.
Maybe you could schedule a fall trip around the work?
