It's KP VI; did you think we've been doing this for the last 29 years? ;D

Actually The Emperor is supposed to be planning something in the Bay Area. Tommy, what's up!

I guess those Socalers remain silent, licking their wounds over the thrashing they took last year!  :D

Bump.

Tommy, are you working on something or do the No. Cal. boys need to take the con? Daylight saving time is just around the corner.

I thought we were all sworn to secrecy until the announcement. If I don't have a date conflict, more grape will head south.

Tommy,
I'd like to attend but am at the point that I can't continue to delay making some commitments beyond this week. Obviously there are problems trying to get a large group onto multiple courses and glitches can arise and we appreciate all the time you spend on this. Could you give us a hint on when the announcement will be made, or what dates you are looking at, subject to change?

Other attendees - Please don't pile on. I'm ready for the heat, Santa Barbara, In-n-Out and OSU/Trailblazer bashing.

After my first KP last year, I made a point of doing everything in my power to make this annual event.
But without a date this late in the game, It'll be next to impossible to get vacation time from work. So the chances of me going this year are not good (like anyone cares).
Hopefully something can be worked out.
The problem is if the KP announcement is made too close to the start of the event, those who need to make air and hotel reservations will be stuck paying premium prices, which may cut down on attendance.
This is a tremendous event. I hope an annoucement is made soon so as many people as possible can participate.

Jesse,
I care. Tommy has been hard at work on this, but you're right it is getting too late for most people who will be traveling any distance. It is generally best to get this event locked in 4 months or so in advance.
It's not just the booking of flights and rooms, there has to be time for the trash-talking build-up too. :)
