« on: March 12, 2007, 09:59:38 PM »
I'm looking for photo's of the 18th green complex @ Oakmont CC. Any and all are welcome, and thank you all in advance. I'm just seriously jonesing for the US Open today and had no luck in the Courses-By-Country section.

I appreciate it guys!

Actually Wayne, your pic is much better than the few grainy images I've found on the net.

I'm sure Ryan will have some good forthcoming pictures. Moreover, it is a crazy green! Is there a more contoured green on the course than the 18th? Some have steeper slopes but not the movement. You'll see.

It's hard enough putting on the 9th green with all of the lunch/dinner spectators watching, but on the 18th you have the serious players watching from the back porch of the clubhouse.

Sorry, I thought I actually had some good shots of this green. Too bad it is usually mown in the dark.

I took these from the USGA digital archive, I believe Golf Illustrated.
