Occupations from Who are you guys....really

Sitting in a hotel room, with a terrible Panthers / Bucs game on and I revisited the Who are you guys thread.  It seems like everyone is an attorney or Supt.  So, I added them up.  Here are the occupations from the 3 threads.

If golfers come in all shapes and sizes and backgrounds, Why is Golf Course Architecture is a white collar pursuit?

While my comment isn't intended to support or refute your question, I'm wondering where actuary got bucketed...

I'm thinking maybe insurance, though we don't all work in insurance!!

OK, I do (and so does the other one that posts here), but really... not all of us do.

The occupations overrepresented are those where we are in front of a computer all day.

All architects will be a lot more comfortable when the powers that be in golf finally solve the ball problem. If the distance to be gotten with the ball continues to increase, it will be necessary to go to 7,500 and even 8000 yard courses.

Me being a materials engineer from a steel company (possibly one of the engineers noted) I am very curious who the "Steel mill crane operator" is. I may know him.

I do not know if I would call it a white collar profession. I would say there is some cross over as far as desire to learn and apply multiple deciplines is closer to white collar.

I suspect that was written a couple of years ago by Portland, Oregon's own "Slag Bandoon," the nom de plume of Norbert Painter, who was right sized or out sourced, made redundant or some other damned thing.  He was subsequently re-educated as a landscape architect and is now self-employed in the landscaping field.

I'm a lobbyist, so you can add that to the list.  As a curious aside from my employment past, I'm also certified by SWANA to design and manage a municipal recycling program for a jurisdiction.
