Anthony,

Are you sure? I thought it was a 6-iron. It was only 170 yards to her house. ;D Did those moronic cops ever think to interview Noonan, there might very well have been something there? It is such a complex case, who could ever figure it out? ;D

Glenn, I guess it depends on which way the wind was blowing that night... yes it was a very complex case. You must admit it requires a great deal of lateral thinking, upon finding a 6 iron lodged in someone's skull, to think of interviewing the member missing a 6 iron from their bag. I believe this took the Greenwich PD approximately six months.

Before we get too carried away with all this proletariat frivolity, I am sure that Hamilton would point out that since Skakel was a Kennedy, he was probably a Democrat anyway...  ;)

Update- Indeed it was a 6-iron, but the wind must have been up that night, because it was only 150 yards to the Moxley's.

I'm giving it up for someone who can sneak onto a golf course straight from the Pennsylvania Turnpike... ;)

I played Merion maybe 20 years ago on New Years Day when it was unseasonably warm.  We parked our car on Ardmore Ave. and started on the 3rd hole.  We looked very professional, waved to the marshall a few times and never had a problem.   It was a little gutsy when we finished the 18th and went to the 1st tee but by that time we had it made.
