My understanding is that Ross did more than redo greens at ACC. I have the ACC history at home and will check.
There were originally two 18's at ACC. Both were first laid out by local amateurs. Raynor is credited with redoing one and Ross the other, both in the early 20's. Both were pretty much complete rebuilds. The Raynor 18 did not survive the Great Depression. (It was basically behind Butler Cabin and to the left of the 10th fairway at ANGC.)
Silva did a Ross "restoration" there about five years ago. If the ACC course now gives off hints of Raynor, I suspect that is mostly, if not all, Silva's doing.
