Just to stir things up a bit, I would not walk across the street to be comped at Sentry World.

I do have a lot of time for the Hill Course at French Lick which didn't register.

Bogey
French Lick Ross course is a superb track imo.  I always find it makes me play all the different shots

For a few months last year, GOLF or GOLF DIGEST or both were doing that, presenting Tony Jacklin’s (or whomever’s) handwritten top ten courses.  But they were just lists, presented with zero commentary.  The only people who cared were the more obscure courses which made the list for personal reasons.

I ran a little series a couple of years ago of the top 10 Favourite courses with commentary from various contributors including several from this parish -  Messrs Doak, Clayton, Harrison, Gallant, Blair and others.

It was a fun series and the top 3 courses selected was interesting. Of course there was massive selection bias given who I asked but the top 6 courses were -

Joint 6th - Royal Melbourne and Prestwick
4th - NGLA
3rd - Cypress
Joint top - North Berwick and St Andrews

Hard to argue with that!
