I know that there are only nine holes left from the orig. design. Bahto states in his book that there are literally trees growing through some of the old greensites. I think what is left must be in varying stages of ruin (at least as far as the original architect's work goes). These old courses are kind of funny, many of them have had so many people mess with them (including committees) its hard to tell if anything is left. I know that I visited a place called Blowing Rock CC in NC that George Bahto (and Cornish/Whitten) lists as a Raynor redisign of an existing Ross layout. . There are several greensites which could easily be Raynor's work and there is some potential for renovation there, but the club's records burned in a clubhouse fire years ago and the place has obviously been reworked several times. I would say that at least 95% of its current membership does not even know who Seth Raynor is. I guess what I am trying to tell you is to be careful when looking up some of the more obscure courses that are attributed to Raynor ( I have not played them but places like Bellport and Gardiners Bay come to mind)you might be disappointed to find there is vey little or nothing left of his work there.
