Eye Line Strategies

I guess this question is for most architects or people who dabble in design. What type of strategies do you use either from tee or fairway to make the golfer's minds eye think one thing, but it’s different ? Maybe an example like two bunkers placed far apart but the golfer thinks there is no where to land a ball when in realty there is plenty of space

  One would be a bunker several yard before the green that looks like it’s in front of the green. A recent thread showed one. I’ve seen this on a couple Ross courses.
